Special Events in June

Thursday 13th June  Messy Church from 3.25-5.15pm at Riddlesden St Mary’s Primary School - a great way for children and adults of all ages to take part in a range of activities that will help us understand more about what it means to be a "Dazzling Disciple", shining like stars lighting up a dark sky!

Children must be accompanied by an adult. If you would like to come, you can just turn up. But it would help if you either email Tony Walker at or text him on 07419 989594. Then we can be sure we will have enough food for everyone! Messy Church is free - contributions towards the cost of the meal are welcome, but optional.

Saturday 1st June - Prayer Walk - We shall start from St Mary’s Church, Riddlesden at 10.00am, visit churches, schools and other places of interest, reaching St Luke’s Church in time for lunch (12.30 or so), and returning to Riddlesden by about 3.30pm. You can come for some or all of it. Bring a picnic lunch!

Tuesday 4th June - Prayer Evening at St Mary's Ridldlesden starting at 7.00pm, finsihing at 9.00pm. You can come for some or all of it.

Saturday 22nd June  The Great Get Together Coffee Morning

This weekend we remember the legacy of Jo Cox, the MP for Batley and Spen who was murdered three years ago. This is an opportunity for everyone to show (in Jo's words) that “we have far more in common than that which divides us.”

Come along and get chatting at this friendly Coffee Morning, from 10am - 12 noon. Sale of produce, quiz sheets, and maybe something more!

Monday 10th June  Gardening Work Party 6.30-8.30pm - all are welcome, no previous experience needed!

Sunday 16th June We join the members of the Congregational Chapel for their Chapel Anniversary Service at 10.30am. There's also a service at St Luke's at 8.00am.

Sunday 30th June   As well as the regualr morning services there will be a Taizé Service at 6.30pm
