Family Services

These services take place at 11.00am twice a month and last about 30 minutes. The service is intended to be a place where all ages can worship together with an interactive time of singing, Bible stories, prayer and activities, with a particular emphasis of engaging with younger families. Once a month the service includes communion.

Sunday School

We would like to encourage as many families as possible to worship together in our family services which is aimed at people of all ages. Each of our Family Services is planned to include children and there will usually be a particular craft or activity for younger children. Older Children (aged 10+) are encouraged to join in with the main service throughout.

Children and Communion before Confirmation

St Luke's church has been given permission to welcome children to recieve communion and so each year we will run some sessions to help prepare children from the age of 7, who with the support of their parents, want to recieve communion.

Special Services

St Luke's runs occasional special services. These can be joint services with Morton Chapel or evening services of worship or Taize music. Please see our What's On page for any dates for special services.
