And we encourage children aged 7 to year 7 and their families to take part in X:site every two months on a Saturday evening at Keighley Shared Church.
X:site means the place of the cross and is a fun, safe way to discover and develop your faith in Jesus. Every event features a live band, silly games, small group work, gunge, and a lot of fun as we learn about God and respond in our own way.
X:site Keighley is run by local churches & supported by Scripture Union England & Wales facebook.com/xsitekeighley
We also encourage chidlren/ young people and their families to take part in Messy Church which is usually at Riddlesden St Mary's Primary School on the second Thursday of each month (during term-time) from 3.30-5.15pm.
However the next one will be a special Good Friday Messy Church at St Mary's Meeting Room, Banks Lane, Riddlesden on Good Friday 19th April from 10.00am-12.00am. See the Messy Church page for more details.
Young people play a big part in our "Tonic" worship on Sunday mornings at 11.15am (See the Tonic page for more details).
Our curate Revd Gareth is always keen to hear from young people who would like to get involved with the Church or find out more about the Christain Faith. You can find his details on the Contacts page.
A new Youth Group started at the end of Febraury catering for young people at secondary school. It takes place every Thursday (during term time) at St Mary's Church Meeting Room, Banks Lane, Riddlesden BD20 5PA from 6.30-8.00pm.
If you are a young person and would like to know more, do get in touch with Revd Gareth or Revd Tony. Or just turn up on a Thursday evening (during term-time).
And if you are an adult who would like to help, please also get in touch with one of us.
